Wallpaper Building - Offord Road N1

London 2012

The formation of four large maisonettes on the lower ground and ground floors of the Wallpaper Building. The premises were originally designated for B1 use but lack of demand prompted a change of use to residential.

New separating walls were built on existing structural lines to create the units and new staircases inserted to link the floors. The large and fluid open plan living areas are located on the ground floor and the bedrooms on the lower level.

The building was built for Cole & Sons, who manufactured wallpaper on the site and their products were recommended in the interiors.
