Osborne House N4

London 2012

Built on the footprint of three garages, the volume of the new two bedroom house was governed by the outline of the original buildings on the site. By excavating the site and angling the roof at the sides, the potential of the site has been maximised. A simple palette of materials has been used, with the original brick boundary walls retained and the front garden terraced and planted to provide pleasant views from the house.
